GOD IN CREATION

GOD IN CREATION

God has various names in many languages and cultures and it seems like men have since known of a supreme being in creation, not so?

To Moses and the children of Israel, He introduced Himself as I AM with signs and mighty acts.

Jonah discovered that he could not hide from God, after three days and nights in the belly of a fish in the deep. He is ever present!

“To whom will you liken me and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be alike?”
Isaiah 46:5 The Gideon’s Bible.

Wise men from the east saw the star. It was a sign to them that a King was born, and no ordinary King this was. So, they followed the star to seek out and worship.

If we look, perhaps, we can find His footprints in creation. In landscapes so gorgeous, roaring seas, winds, trees, fields, flowers, wild and tame animals, dolphins, and birds that sing so sweetly.

God reveals himself in creation

God is seen in creation

The Bible reveals His acts! To some like Abraham, God was a friend. To Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, He introduced Himself as a revealer of deep and hidden things. He revealed Himself to King Nebuchadnezzar as “…the Most High who rules in the kingdom of men and gives it to whom He wills”.  Daniel 4:17
Finally, in Jesus, He reveals Himself as a loving saviour.

How would you like Him revealed to you?

“The pure in heart will see God.”
“If you seek me, you will find me.”

Merry Christmas to you and yours, folks.

To live as though “everything” is a miracle requires thought and an attitude of gratitude, doesn’t it? Want to find out more in the post A WEEKEND OF GRATITUDE?
