ZACK WILL BE ALRIGHT
Zack Clements collapsed at gym class in his Christian high school. His heart stopped and for a full 20 minutes, doctors worked to revive him. He shares his experience of a place far off, a glimpse of heaven, seeing Jesus and a line of angels. Jesus touched him and said he’d be alright. He was 17 at the time. People did not believe him.
FATHER ABRAHAM EXPLAINS
In the Luke 16:19-31 account, the rich man recognized Lazarus. He felt thirst and torment. It was so intense he asked that Abraham have Lazarus return to warn his five brothers about an afterlife experience. Abraham’s reply is intriguing. He says if people fail to hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they listen to anyone returning to warn of the reality of an afterlife. Now, there’s a thought!
THESE WORDS DESCRIBE THE PLACE
A city built with pure gold, like clear glass. No need for a temple or the sun or the moon to shine. No more nights because its temple and its lamp is the Lamb and the Lord Almighty. What fascinating words! Refer to Revelation chapter 21 for more captivating features of this city. Folks, no fakes in this place!
Now, I sometimes struggle with knowing when to be still to see God’s salvation in situations where I long to hurry things along and feel that God is not moving fast enough. Maybe you can relate? It can be so difficult to wait even though waiting does have its rewards and the Bible says God is not slow.
